(2 bars) set (2 bars) cross up (2 bars) cast to 2nd place opposite side (8 bars) petronella turn four times (ending in 2nd place opposite side) (8 bars) figure of eight across (cast up; cross down; cast up; cross down) NOTE: This dance has been tested in a single 3 couple set. It may also work in a 4 couple set; however, there is a danger that, when both 1st and 3rd couples are dancing couples, on bars 7--8, the fourth lady crossing up will collide with the first lady doing a petronella turn. Testing is required: the easier route might be for the fourth lady to cross *above* the first lady. Likewise there are risks of collision if multiple sets are dancing simultaneously. It may be that there is no adequate resolution, and this dance should only be danced in 3 couple sets.
